BENEFITS

Lumea's BxSoft Tamper is made from a silicone elastomer composite with improved thermal transfer and high latent heat.

The handle is detachable and self-centering on the soft tamper (via permanent magnets).

The tamper is intended for flattening, aligning in the same plane, and maintaining the position of the paraffinized tissue samples when cooling the paraffin blocks on the embedding station. The tamper removes the need to apply significant force and reduces the risk of breaking fragile biological specimens.
